Valentine’s Day came and went, and the countdown to National Margarita Day has begun. This day of appreciation lands on a weekend this year [this Saturday, Feb. 22nd] and we couldn’t think of a better excuse to dust off those coupe glasses and get to sipping on some craft margaritas.

If you’re just hearing about this fun cause for a celebration, we know the urge to simply throw sugar and lime in with any tequila and get to it is strong… but we feel it’s our duty to be sure you do things right. So we have to break it to you – not just any margarita recipe will yield tasty margaritas.

So throw away that fable, the juice matters! You wouldn’t serve up a big mac with your side of caviar, would you? Tempting, but bad practice.
