How World Wildlife Day Sparked a Sponsorship

LOS ANGELES + COSTA RICA, March 3, 2022 – World Wildlife Day gives us the opportunity to raise awareness of the world’s wild animals and celebrate their contributions to our planet. Nosotros Tequila & Mezcal, winner of the Best Tequila and a Double-Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2017, is celebrating World Wildlife Day by raising funds and awareness for the Toucan Rescue Ranch in Costa Rica. Nosotros Founder and CEO, Carlos Soto, is a Costa Rica native whose passion for the environment and sustainability has remained a core pillar of Nosotros. When it came to a World Wildlife Day partnership for Nosotros, it was a no-brainer to support the Toucan Rescue Ranch.
The Toucan Rescue Ranch rescues, rehabilitates, and releases Costa Rica wildlife, including toucans, which are central to the Nosotros brand. The image of the Nosotros Toucan represents our Costa Rican and Mexican roots and spirit, with a special hint of California found in its wing. Simply designed yet rich with the power of storytelling, the Nosotros Toucanencompasses who we are and the stories that we have to tell while inspiring us to do good in the world.

From Thursday, March 3 through Sunday, March 6, Nosotros is donating 100% of the proceeds from their website sales to the Toucan Rescue Ranch in order to help provide care for toucans in Costa Rica, a place that Nosotros calls home. For Nosotros, World Wildlife Day is just the start of supporting Toucan Rescue Ranch.
